Mashed Potatoes (IP)
Ingredients
- 2 ½ lbs russet potatoes
- 4 C water (approx)
- 2 tsp salt (divided)
- ¼ C butter
- ¼ C sour cream
- ¼ C milk
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Directions
- Peel potatoes, cut into 2-inch thick pieces, place in Instant Pot, and cover with water (approx 4 cups).
- Add half of the salt and set to steam for 12 minutes.
- Quick release and drain potatoes.
- Return to pot, smash potatoes with remaining ingredients.
